About Mrs. Benedict

I have been teaching in the Garden Grove School District for five years. I have previously taught 5th grade, fourth grade, and first grade, and I have loved every age group! However, 5th grade is my favorite. This is my fourth year teaching 5th grade GATE at Allen School.

I received my BA in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fullerton, in 2001.

I earned my credential in 2002 from CSUF.

In 2005, I received my MS in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology from California State University, Fullerton. I also earned an Outstanding Master's Recipient award.

I live in Huntington Beach with my husband, our son, Geoffrey, and our dog, Belle.
