District Intermediate School Spelling Bee Scheduled for February 6 at 6:30 p.m.

Outstanding spellers from the Garden Grove Unified School District’s intermediate schools will participate in the annual spelling bee for seventh and eighth-grade students on Thursday, February 6, at 6:30 p.m.

Each of the district’s 10 intermediate schools is sending four representatives to the competition hosted at Edgar School/District Meeting Center, 6202 Cerulean Ave. Garden Grove. Parents are invited to attend.

The district champion and nine runners-up will represent the GGUSD in the Orange County Spelling Competition at the Orange County Department of Education in Costa Mesa, with the written segment scheduled February 24 followed by the deciding oral spelling round on March 1.
