CJSF Pennies for Patients: Help Bell raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. From March 1 to March 19, bring pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters (and dollars, too) to your 1st period class. Checks and money orders should be made payable to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The total goal is to raise $1,500. If we raise at least $800, the classroom that collects the most money wins their choice of a pizza or ice cream sundae party. Some students who donate will be entered in a special drawing to go out to lunch with Mr. Mackay. Download the flyer here.
There will be a West Garden Grove Community Outreach Meeting, The Power of Parents, on March 22. The topic is Keeping Your Kids Safe and Drug-Free. (It is appropriate for parents with children in grades 6-12.) The presentation will be in English, and interpretation will be provided in Spanish, Vietnamese, and Korean. The meeting will be in the Pacifica High School Cafeteria from 6:00 to 8:30 P.M. Download the flyer (in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Korean) here.
Library Hours Due to budget limitations, the Bell Library's hours of operation have been reduced from what they were during past school years. This year the Bell Library is open during school 3rd, 5th, and 6th period. It is also open after school from 2:10 to 2:30; however, Ms. Besst leaves it open longer (until 3:00 or 3:30) on most days, when she is able.
Online Grades, Homework, and Much More: The Parent Portal to Bell's new online grade-reporting program is now open. Go to the links on the right to go directly to the Portal and to go to our information page.
Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures - We are committed to provide our students with safe and organized drop off and pick up procedures before and after school. Please read about our procedures by downloading the Word document here.
