Dance Team -- Congratulations to Bell's new Dance Team members. Click here to see the names of the new members of the Competition Team and the Dance Ensemble.

Knott's Tickets -- Tickets for Knott's for the 8th Grade trip on June 18 are on sale at the Student Window from May 28 through June 18. The cost is $30.

Commencement -- Congratulations to Josh V., who won the contest to design the logo for the 2013 Commencement, and to Gabby V., who won the contest to create the theme for commencement. Congratulations also go out to Mercedes R., who will be giving the commencement speech.

Congratulations, Pentathlon Team --
Congratulations to the students who participated on the Bell Pentathlon team and to Mrs. Houchen. Our students dominated the competition, bringing home 68 medals. The 7th grade team earned 1st Place in the Super Quiz, and 8th Grade earned 2nd. Both our 7th and 8th grade teams won 1st place over-all, which is an amazing accomplishment considering there were 77 schools in the competition. We are so proud of our students and Mrs. Houchen. Well Done!

Anti-Bullying Campaign -- Bell students have participated in lessons, skits, an assembly, and other activities to learn to understand and stop bullying. Washington, D.C. Trip -- Mr. Perales and his team of chaperones will be leading Bell students on a trip to Washington, D.C. in June 2013. Click here for more information. (It's a pdf.)

Library Hours -- The Bell Library's hours are 2:25-3:20 Monday - Friday. On Collaboration Days, it is open 12:55-1:30. It is closed on the 2nd Wednesday of each month for staff meetings and on days when the teacher-librarian is absent.

Collaboration Days -- Collaboration Days will in most cases be on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. In June, there will be one Collaboration Day, which will be on the 1st Wednesday.

Bell Honored -- Bell Intermediate has made the prestigious statewide honor roll of academic awards from California Business for Education Excellence (CBEE) as a Scholar School. Please click here to download the press release. (It's a pdf.)
