Dear Parents:

Welcome to Bryant school! We understand the difference education can make in the lives of our students, and are determined to do whatever it takes to help all of our students reach the state standards. Our students demonstrated significant growth on the 2008-2009 California Standards Test and we are confident that we will continue to improve in that effort. We invite you to participate in your child’s education and look forward to working with you. The following information will help us to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all of our students.

SCHOOL SCHEDULE

Office Hours 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Breakfast Schedule 7:40 a.m. to 7:55 a.m.
Kindergarten Schedule (early bears) 8:05 a.m. to 11:55 a.m.
Kindergarten Schedule (late bears) 9:05 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.
First through Sixth Grade Schedule  

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday

 8:05 a.m. to 2:25 p.m.

Wednesday

 8:05 a.m. to 1:35 p.m.
Parent Conference Minimum Day Schedule 8:05 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Last Day of School 8:05 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.

MORNING DROP OFF AND DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
Safety is a top priority at Bryant. Your cooperation is essential in ensuring safety on our campus and in our parking lot. You can help keep our students safe by following our procedures:

     -Use the red curb in front of the school for drop off only every morning. No parking is allowed.

     -We will close the parking lot from 2:15 to approximately 2:45 to allow for a safe dismissal.

     -Please be courteous to our neighbors and crossing guards by not honking.

Students should not arrive at school before 7:40 if they are eating breakfast or 7:45 if they are having breakfast at home. We are unable to provide morning supervision for students before that time. If you would like to wait with your child before school begins, please wait with him/her on the grass in front of the office. We are unable to permit parents on the playground without a visitor’s pass.

All students should be picked up within 10 minutes of dismissal. Please arrive at school promptly and wait for students by the gate or front grass area. Please do not wait for your children in front of the classrooms or try to pick them up at the door as it disturbs instruction and compromises our ability to keep close count on the students. Also, it is important that the office is aware of who is picking up your child from school. Make sure to keep us informed of any changes on your child’s emergency card.
