2017 First Day of School Photo Contest

We know all of our proud GGUSD parents out there will be snapping photos of their child's first day of the 2017-18 school year. We want to celebrate your students and a successful start to a new school year with a First Day of School Photo Contest. Here is how it works:

1. Post a cute/creative photo of your child on the first day of school using #GGUSDFirstDay on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram by Friday, September 1. Make sure your post is public.
2. Or you can email your photo to pio_department@ggusd.us
3. We will collect all entries and create an official GGUSD First Day Photo Album on our district Facebook page on Wednesday, September 6. Users will vote on their favorite photo by "liking" it.
4. On Wednesday, September 13, the individual photo that receives the most Likes or Loves on our official First Day Photo Album on Facebook will win.
5. The person who posted the winning photograph will receive a backpack full of new school supplies and a new Garden Grove Unified School District t-shirt.
