Garden Park Elementary School is one of 70 schools within the Garden Grove Unified School District. Nestled within a quiet, residential neighborhood comprised of single family homes, Garden Park Elementary School proudly serves students in grades K-6. Our student population of 261 students, twelve credentialed teachers, and eleven support staff contribute to the powerful educational experience each child receives at our school. This unique setting provides a warm and inviting environment reminiscent of the days of the one room schoolhouse.
Reopened in 2002, Garden Park Elementary School is an attractive and inviting educational gathering place. With incredible excitement, enthusiasm and commitment, the Garden Park community, parents, and students came together to create a community of learners. The high value placed on education is evident by the tremendous amount of parents involved in all aspects of the school and the generous participation of our surrounding community. Volunteers contribute numerous hours assisting in classrooms, working in the library, working in the computer lab, organizing school and community fund-raisers, and contributing to decision-making committees. Visitors often comment on the campus orderliness, dazzling classroom environments, stunning academic rigor, and comfortable spirit throughout Garden Park Elementary School. On a daily basis, our extraordinary teachers and support staff strive to meet and/or exceed the California state standards. We accomplish this through exemplary teaching, schoolwide action planning, faithful implementation of district approved curriculum, enriching relationships, and making decisions that directly benefit the educational journey of the students we serve.
