Thanks to the Philharmonic Society of Orange County and the Music Perfrmance Fund, the fourth through sixth grade students at Garden Park Elementary School were given the opportunity to watch, listen and participate with five superb instrumental performers. These five performers provided a beautiful interactive concert highlighting woodwind instruments.
They provided us with detailed information about each woodwind instrument, how it sounds isolated as well as in a group. At the conclusion of the assembly, several students were called up on stage to participate in the grand finale. Not only did we learn something new we had a great time doing it.
