This page has been designed to be an electronic resource hub for our Garden Park Elementary School students.  The electronic resources on this webpage can be used to help their educational experience here at Garden Park Elementary School.

We have created links to a variety of resources we hope our students and their parents will find beneficial.  In order to access the desired resource, simply drag your cursor over the icon and click.  A brief description of each resource has been listed below.

 

Accelerated Reader Book Finder:  Have you ever read a literature book and then went to take an Accelerated Reader quiz only to find out there isn't one?  If that has happened to you, then the AR Book Finder website can help you.   This website enables you to search the Accelerated Reader data base for quizzes.  You can search by author or by title.   In order to take advantage of this resource simply click on the AR Book Finder icon. 

 

Encyclopedia Britannica Online:  This is the online school edition of Encyclopedia Britannica. This version is geared toward elementary school age children.  Students who attend a school within Garden Grove Unified School District have been granted free access to this fantastic electronic resource.  In order to take advantage of this resource simply click on the Encyclopedia Britannica icon.  The user name is:  ggusd and the password is:  student.

K-2 Starfall:  This website has been designed to assist students in grades K-2 in the area of reading.  The activities are fun, interactive, and purposeful.   In order to take advantage of this resource simply click on the K-2 Starfall icon. 

Houghton Mifflin Reading:  Like many districts in California, Garden Grove Unified School District utilizes the Houghotn Mifflin curriclum to teach English Language Arts.  This website provides the parent with more information about the grade level curriculum.  In addition, there are grade level activities and games that support what is being taught in the classroom.    In order to take advantage of this resource simply click on the Houghton Miffilin Reading icon.
