Ralston offers a comprehensive  program of  academics as well as a full  range of  activities to enhance  the intermediate school  experience  for  all students. Seventh  grade students have two periods of English, a period of math, one semester of life science backed up by one semester of world history, physical education, and either two semester or one year-long elective

Eighth grade student programs include one year of English, physical science, math, physical education, United States history, and either two semester electives or one year-long elective.

Electives at Ralston include: - Art - Computer Skills and Applications - Journalism - Wood - Chorus - Band - Strings - Student Government - Library Practice - AVID - Drama	Ralston also offers a full range of English Language Development classes, and a comprehensive special education program including resource specialist program classes and special day classes.
