Stanford Elementary School serves grades K-6. It is one of 67 schools in the Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) and serves students from the city of Garden Grove. There are many opportunities at this school and district for parental involvement through participation in parent support organizations, school site councils, and district-level advisory committees. Parents at the school participate in such activities as PFO, family fun nights, Ten Education Commandments,, English Learner Advisory Committee, School Site Council, and volunteering in the classroom. Among its responsibilities, the leadership team advises on academic and extra-curricular programs. In addition to the  administrator, teachers, and classified staff, specially trained support personnel are also available to students.
