It is my pleasure to be able to join the wonderful team at Violette and I am really honored to be able to lead our school in the coming years.  I come to Violette from Irvine Intermediate School where I was the Assistant Principal for the past 3 years.  Previously, I had taught for 10 years in both Long Beach Unified and Saddleback Valley.  My philosophy is that all students are capable of learning at high levels and that students can achieve amazing things when held to high standards. It is my goal, and our teachers goal, to have all Violette students ready to succeed when they attend intermediate school and beyond. 

We are excited to begin a new year with lots of opportunities for learning, exploring and growing for all our students.  I also look forward to meeting all our parents and together continue to build a fabulous learning community at Violette School.  Please keep yourself informed by reading our weekly announcements, accessing our website, reading monthly newsletters, and attending Pastries with Parents and School Site Council meetings.  I have an “open door” policy and would love to hear any ideas, concerns or comments from all families.   

We know that students’ success comes from hard work on everyone’s part – students, parents, teachers, and other school staff – and we hope that you will let us know if we can assist you in the part that you play. We take our roles in your child’s education very seriously and are proud to be Violette Vikings!
