Office 365

Garden Grove Unified School District is excited to support our students' success by providing all enrolled students and staff with five full copies of Office 365 ProPlus at no cost. Students and staff are able to download this software for home use on a PC, Mac or mobile device thanks to our partnership with Microsoft.

Office 365 ProPlus is only available to the users as long as they remain with Garden Grove Unified School District. When the users leave the district, the software installed on the computer(s) will deactivate.

Please review the instructions carefully before proceed to download:

For Students

Students will be able to use their existing Google Apps for Education account to activate Office 365. The following is an example of a student account:

Username: 19jsmith@ggusd.net
Password: (student current Google password)

For Staff Members

Staff members will be able to use their District email account to activate Office 365. The following is an example of a staff account:

Username: jsmith@ggusd.us
Password: (Current District email password)

*Note: If you are an employee who does not have an official District email account, please use the following login:

Username: jsmith@ggusd.net
Password: (current District computer login password)

Getting Started:

  1. Click here to go to the main login page for Office 365.
  2. Enter your Student Google account (example: 19jsmith@ggusd.net or Staff email address as the Username (example: jsmith@ggusd.us or jsmith@ggusd.net), then enter the Password you use to sign in to school/District computers.
  3. Once you are signed in click "Install Office" in the top right corner of the page, then select Office 365 apps to begin the download.how to download office 365
  4. During the installation process, you may be asked to enter your email address and password to activate Office 365. Enter your information accordingly depending on whether you are a student or staff member.
