Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) honored 519 employees for their years of service at the 29th Annual Employee Recognition Program on December 6th at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center. Four GGUSD employees earned a special recognition for dedicating 40 years to the district.

Pacifica High School students will adopt more than 300 preschool and kindergarten students for a morning of holiday fun as part of its beloved, annual Adopt-A-Child event on Wednesday, December 14. Pacifica High School’s gymnasium will be transformed into Santa’s Village from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and students will enjoy wish list crafts, cookie decorating, and photographs with Santa Claus.
Santiago High School students in the U.S. Army JROTC program are partnering with the OC Food Bank to hold a Toy Drive for children who would not otherwise receive a gift this holiday season.
