General Information

The Maintenance Center is subdivided into two categories: Maintenance and Operations. There are seven departments within our Maintenance Center that work hard behind the scenes to meet the needs of GGUSD. We take great pride in the teamwork effort put forth by all of our employees to reach our common goal of providing a safe, comfortable environment for our students and staff to learn and work in. The Maintenance Center employs approximately 120 employees at its facility. We provide services to 45 elementary schools, 10 intermediate schools, 8 high schools, 2 special education schools, and 1 Adult Education school in our district. Our hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. year round

We are located at the Chapman-Hettinga Center at 11852 Knott St. just north of Chapman Ave. in Garden Grove. St. approximately 2 miles north of the Garden Grove (22) Freeway. Map

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Maintenance Center is to provide the highest quality of customer service to all of our facilities throughout the District. We take great pride in the team work effort put forth by all of our employees to reach our common goal of providing a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained learning and working environment for our students and staff.
