GGUSD Honors Employees for Years of Service

GGUSD assistant superintendent recognizes employee for years of service.

Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) honored 519 employees for their years of service at the 29th Annual Employee Recognition Program on December 6th at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center. Four GGUSD employees earned a special recognition for dedicating 40 years to the district.

The four employees with 40 years of service are Frances Moore, School Office Clerk at Mitchell Elementary School; Grace Noah, School Community Liaison Worker at Los Amigos High School; Gale Odolecki, Kindergarten Instructional Aide at Marshall Elementary School; and Judith Moreno, Instructional Aide at Russell Elementary School.

“Our outstanding employees contribute to the supportive culture that makes this district such an incredible place to work,” said GGUSD Board of Education Trustee Bob Harden. “The longevity of these 500 employees is a testament to the fact that our district values its employees for all they do to support the growth of our students.”

Four employees were recognized for 35 years of service and 18 employees for 30 years. Also recognized were employees with 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of service.
