Weekly Reopening Update – July 2, 2020
Dear Families,
This week, we had our first of five meetings of the GGUSD Stakeholder Task Force on School Reopening with nearly 200 participants including parents, students, and employees. Members of the task force heard a presentation from Superintendent Gabriela Mafi and reviewed data highlights from the 17,000 surveys completed by families as well as the staff survey results. It’s clear that top priorities include enhanced cleaning, regular hand washing and protocols for responding to positive covid-19 cases at our schools. An overview was provided about each of our three learning models for 2020-2021 including 1.) Full Day Learning at School; 2.) Hybrid Learning at School and at Home; and 3.) Virtual Learning Academy (online at home). As a reminder, each school will have its own scheduling plan based on enrollment and building/classroom capacity following county and state distancing guidelines. We will continue to call families who have not completed our reopening survey so that each school can effectively plan for the new year. Our reopening plans adhere to guidance provided by the California Department of Public Health. Click here to read the guidance document. Esta semana, tuvimos nuestra primera de cinco reuniones del Grupo de Trabajo de las Partes Interesadas del GGUSD para la Reapertura de las Escuelas que contó con casi 200 participantes, los cuales incluyeron: padres de familia, alumnos y personal escolar. Los miembros del Grupo de Trabajo escucharon una presentación de la Superintendente, Gabriela Mafi, y revisaron la información destacada de las 17,000 encuestas que llenaron las familias, al igual que los resultados de la encuesta que llenó el personal escolar. Esta claro que las prioridades principales incluyen: limpieza profunda, lavarse las manos frecuentemente y protocolos para responder a los casos positivos del COVID-19 en nuestras escuelas. Se proporcionó un resumen sobre cada uno de nuestros tres modelos de enseñanza para el año escolar 2020-2021, los cuales incluyen: 1) Un día completo de aprendizaje en la escuela; 2) Aprendizaje híbrido en la escuela y en la casa; y 3) Academia de Aprendizaje Virtual (en línea desde la casa). Como recordatorio, cada escuela tendrá su propio plan para programar los horarios en base a los alumnos inscritos, la capacidad que tengan los salones de clases y el edificio para seguir las reglas de distanciamiento del condado y del estado. Cập Nhật Hàng Tuần Về Việc Mở Trường Lại – Bản Tin Ngày 2 tháng Bảy, 2020

Trong tuần này, ban Đặc Trách Về Việc Mở Trường Lại của GGUSD đã tổ chức buổi họp đầu tiên trong tổng cộng 5 buổi họp với gần 200 người tham dự, bao gồm phụ huynh, học sinh và nhân viên học khu. Các thành viên của ban đặc trách đã lắng nghe cô Gabriela Mafi, Học Khu Trưởng, trình bày cũng như xem xét những dữ liệu chính trong 17,000 bản thăm dò dành cho phụ huynh cũng như các bản thăm dò dành cho nhân viên học khu. Chúng tôi cũng trình bày khái quát về cách học của ba mô hình sau: 1) Học Tại Trường Nguyên Ngày; 2) Vừa Học Ở Trường Vừa Học Ở Nhà; 3) Học Trên Mạng (học tại nhà). Chúng tôi muốn nhắc quý vị rằng mỗi trường sẽ có kế hoạch riêng dựa trên sĩ số học sinh ghi danh và chỗ ngồi cho phép trong toà nhà/lớp học theo đúng hướng dẫn của tiểu bang và quận hạt về việc giữ khoảng cách an toàn. Nhằm giúp các trường đưa ra kế hoạch hữu hiệu nhất cho niên học mới, chúng tôi sẽ tiếp tục gọi những gia đình nào vẫn chưa hoàn tất bản thăm dò. Các kế hoạch về việc mở trường lại của học khu đều tuân theo những hướng dẫn của Bộ Y Tế Công Cộng Tiểu Bang California. Bấm vào đây để xem bản hướng dẫn.
