Murdy Elementary – Vietnamese Dual Immersion

Welcome to Murdy Elementary – Vietnamese Dual Immersion Program!  We are an existing school that provides tradition English instruction for grades K-6.  We opened the Vietnamese dual program with four Kindergarten classroom in 2018-19 and each year the students will move up a grade. We will be hosting our orientation meetings in January for next year’s enrollment.  We accept applications from across and outside the district for incoming transitional kindergarten or kindergarten students.  Below is the application process:

1. Attend an orientation meeting – RSVP to secure your seat
2. Complete the dual language supplemental application after you have attended an orientation meeting and turn it in before the priority enrollment period ends on January 31^st
3. If applicants exceed capacity, a random lottery will take place after the priority enrollment period
4. Applications that come in after January 31^st will be placed in date order after the last lottery number
5. If you are selected for the program, you will need to follow additional steps
