Information about Applying to Work in GGUSD after High School

There are 3 pathways to working in GGUSD after high school!

  1. College Tutors:If you plan to attend college and you enjoy working with kids, apply to be a College Tutor. This is a part-time job where you can mentor 6th grade students through the district’s College and Career Mentoring Program or tutor AVID students. It pays $19.31 per hour and allows you to share what you learned in GGUSD with younger students.

  2. College Worker: GGUSD has opportunities for college students who want to support district departments with a variety of clerical tasks. This is a great way to earn extra money while you’re earning your college degree and also allows you to get your foot in the door should you want to work for GGUSD after college. Click here for instructions on how to apply to be a College Worker. This position pays $18.18 per hour.

  3. Part time or full time Classified Positions: GGUSD has many open positions that do not require a college degree including office clerks, community liaisons, instructional aides, custodians and food service workers among others.
