Beginning next week, Garden Grove Unified School District is issuing its annual Strategic Plan Survey to students in third through twelfth grades as well as to all GGUSD families. The survey helps the district collect important feedback about how it is meeting the strategic plan goals of equipping all students with academic and personal skills for lifelong success, as well as what it can continue to do to support families through the pandemic.

“This survey is extremely important to help us measure how well we are doing in areas related to our Strategic Plan, including scholarly habits, social-emotional well-being, and college and career readiness,” said Lan Nguyen, Board of Education President.  “We truly want to hear from our customers – our students and parents – about how best to meet their needs.”

Students will take an online survey at school between September 20 and October 1. All GGUSD parents will have the option to take the survey online or on a Scantron paper version sent home in student’s backpacks.  Paper surveys are available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese and will be provided to students next week. The online version of the survey is available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Korean. It is posted on the district website and was shared with all families via ParentSquare. Surveys should be returned to schools or completed online no later than October 1.
